Volleyball Game Preview: Payette Pirates vs. Weiser Wolverines + How To Watch

Payette hasn't had much luck against Weiser recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pirates will host the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Payette came up short against Emmett and fell 3-1.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Emmett scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Weiser also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Fruitland by a score of 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Grizzlies: they've now lost six in a row.

Weiser started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-16.

Weiser now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Payette, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
