Softball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 12-9 to the Legacy Christian Academy Eagles. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 7-1 in the first period.

Dahlia Gutierrez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Jadyn Walton, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Legacy Christian Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4-1.

Princeton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-5 win against Bland on the 27th. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-0 victory against Leonard on the 27th.
