Softball Recap: Chesaning Takes a Loss

Chesaning made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Alma, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 7-5 on Saturday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Chesaning's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Alma, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Chesaning wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-2 victory against Cadillac on the 26th. As for Alma, they will venture away from home to face off against Bridgeport at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
