Softball Recap: Delavan-Darien Comes Up Short

Delavan-Darien fell victim to Turner and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 12-0. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Delavan-Darien's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Turner, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

When Delavan-Darien and Turner next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Comets will try to stop Clinton's four-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Turner will square off against Monroe and their three-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
