Soccer Recap: Felton Grove Comes Up Short

Felton Grove lost against Cardinal Gibbons back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Galaxy came up short against the Crusaders, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Felton Grove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while Cardinal Gibbons are ranked 110th).

Felton Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Cardinal Gibbons, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Felton Grove will face off against rival Cary at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Cardinal Gibbons is set to challenge their familiar foe Holly Springs at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
