Lake Norman had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They never let the Statesville Greyhounds get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering Lake Norman have won 11 matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Statesville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Lake Norman's victory bumped their record up to 16-1-2. As for Statesville, they now have a losing record of 7-8-5.
