Southwestern faced Pulaski County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Warriors walked away with a 3-1 win over the Maroons. Surprisingly, this marked the Warriors' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Southwestern is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Pulaski County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Southwestern is set to challenge their familiar foe Marion County at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Pulaski County will take on rival John Hardin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
