Volleyball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland lost against Eagle's Landing back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolfpack fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Woodland ultimately came up short, they really made Eagle's Landing work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 26-24.

Among those leading the charge was Antonella Rodriguez, who had three digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Eagle's Landing, they pushed their record up to 26-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Woodland and Eagle's Landing should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Wolfpack (ranked 164th) will meet Forest Park (ranked 362nd) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eagle's Landing will face off against Lovejoy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (115 vs. 381).
