Baseball Recap: Timpanogos Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Timpanogos can now relate to. They fell just short of the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Timberwolves who fell 7-5 when the teams previously met back in March.

Collin Morgan was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Carter Hall was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Timpanogos' defeat dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Crimson Cliffs, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Timpanogos nor Crimson Cliffs have any future games scheduled.
