Baseball Recap: Early Takes a Loss

Early lost a heartbreaker to Weaubleau when they met back in May of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 6-4. The Panthers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Early saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash Graves, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Landon Tomlinson was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Early's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Weaubleau, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Early will head out on the road to square off against New Covenant Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Weaubleau does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
