Broken Bow is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since October 17, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Kearney Catholic.

While Broken Bow ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Holdrege beat Sidney 2-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dusters.

Broken Bow's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Holdrege, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.
