Volleyball Recap: Griffin Comes Up Short

Griffin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lamar County Trojans. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Lamar County, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Griffin will head out to challenge Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lamar County, they will challenge Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
