Soccer Recap: Field Kindley Takes a Loss

Field Kindley fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Pittsburg on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 4-3. Field Kindley were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pittsburg apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Field Kindley now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Pittsburg, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Field Kindley will face off against rival Parsons on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pittsburg is set to take on their familiar foe Fort Scott at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
