Volleyball Game Preview: Chuckey-Doak Black Knights vs. Cocke County Fighting Cocks

The Chuckey-Doak Black Knights will square off against the Cocke County Fighting Cocks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cocke County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Chuckey-Doak, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Chuckey-Doak got the win against West Greene by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Cocke County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cherokee.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 18-25, 25-15.

Chuckey-Doak now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Cocke County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-23.

Chuckey-Doak beat Cocke County 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Black Knights repeat their success, or do the Fighting Cocks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
