Soccer Recap: Neosho Takes a Loss

Neosho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Carthage Tigers, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, Neosho can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 166th, while Carthage are ranked 14th).

Neosho's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Carthage, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Neosho has already played their next contest (against Willard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Carthage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Joplin on the 16th.
