Baseball Recap: Andrew Thunderbolts vs. Lincoln-Way West Warriors
Andrew extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 16-7 in the process. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-1 to the Lincoln-Way West Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Monday.
As for Lincoln-Way West, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-5. That's two games straight that they have won by exactly three runs.
For Lincoln-Way West's part, Ben Joynt looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, Joynt posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
