Soccer Game Preview: Bristow vs. Christian Heritage

The Bristow Pirates will challenge the Christian Heritage Crusaders at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Bristow is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Oklahoma Christian just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Saints. Bristow were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than four goals in the four games prior), but Oklahoma Christian's defense proved too tough.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Christian Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let Cordell get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for Christian Heritage in their matchups with Cordell: they've now won eight in a row.

Christian Heritage's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those four matchups. As for Bristow, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-3-1.
