Baseball Game Preview: Braddock Bulldogs vs. Nova Titans

For the second straight game, Braddock will face off against Nova. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Braddock's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Nova's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Braddock is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Nova a 13-0 shutout. The Bulldogs not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 24th (when they won 14-0).

Braddock got a great performance from Jesus Moreno as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Jorge Gonzalez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Marcelo Torres was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Braddock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .542. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nova only posted an OBP of .176.

Nova dropped their record down to 13-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Braddock, their win bumped their record up to 19-7-1.
