Basketball Recap: Waccamaw Takes a Loss

Waccamaw saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell to the Fort Dorchester Patriots 55-49. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kai Mack went supernova for Fort Dorchester, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Guillory, who posted 17 points and three steals.

Waccamaw's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Fort Dorchester, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Waccamaw wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-51 loss against Orangeburg-Wilkinson on the 21st. As for Fort Dorchester, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-44 defeat against Socastee on the 21st.
