Baseball Game Preview: Peaster Greyhounds vs. Breckenridge Buckaroos

The Peaster Greyhounds are taking a road trip to take on the Breckenridge Buckaroos at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peaster is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Peaster and Comanche had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Greyhounds put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 12-1 victory on Friday. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Breckenridge came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 10-7. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 16, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Peaster's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Breckenridge, the win got them back to even at 8-8-1.
