Softball Recap: Hereford Comes Up Short

Hereford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Canutillo Eagles. The match marked the Whitefaces' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hereford's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Canutillo, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Hereford has already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against El Dorado on the 22nd. As for Canutillo, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Eastwood at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Eastwood: 3.5, Canutillo: 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
