Volleyball Recap: Westchester Triumphs

Westchester hadn't done well against Hamilton recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Comets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Yankees. For the Comets, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Yankees walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

While Westchester might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Hamilton scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24, 22-25, 25-20.

The victory got Westchester back to even at 3-3. As for Hamilton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Westchester is set to square off against their familiar foe Palisades at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hamilton will challenge rival University at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
