There's no place like home for Okemos, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Everett Vikings on Monday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory back in October.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Okemos was: they took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-2.

Zoe Taylor paced Okemos' offense, picking up seven kills. Taylor were helped by Micaela Forcum and Paloma Rosati, who contributed seven assists each. Taylor was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Okemos' win bumped their record up to 14-18-2. As for Everett, they are on a 33-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-28.

Okemos has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Jackson on the 5th. Everett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
