Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Park Tigers vs. Waller Bulldogs

The Cypress Park Tigers will square off against the Waller Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cypress Park faced off against Cypress Woods on Friday. Cypress Park took a 56-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cypress Woods. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Waller was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat. They were beaten by Cypress Springs 72-40. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1145th, while the Panthers are ranked 100th).

Waller's loss dropped their record down to 3-29. As for Cypress Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-13.

Cypress Park strolled past Waller when the teams last played back in January by a score of 81-67. Does Cypress Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will Waller turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
