Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vinton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Westminster Christian Academy Chargers 50-20. Considering the Lions have won three contests by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Vinton's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vinton will challenge Pickering at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Highland Baptist Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Chargers will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
