Baseball Recap: Madison-Grant Takes a Loss

Madison-Grant fell victim to Delta and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (10-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Madison-Grant saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Gilman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases. Tripp Haisley was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Madison-Grant's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Delta, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Madison-Grant didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-4 victory against Delphi Community on the 12th. As for Delta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against Greenfield-Central on the 16th.
