Midfield entered their tilt with Altamont on Monday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Altamont Knights 61-27. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 33 points or more this season.

Midfield was led to victory by Vincent Burrell and Jashawn Moore. Burrell made all 5 shots he took to post 12 points and five boards, while Moore made all 5 shots he took for 12 points. Another player making a difference was Armonie Franklin, who posted two points in addition to eight assists and three steals.

Midfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 34.9% in those games and 26.2% outside of them. As for Altamont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-16.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Comer the next time they take the court. Midfield will host Comer at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Altamont will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
