Volleyball Recap: North Pocono Takes a Loss

North Pocono lost against Crestwood back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans came up short against the Comets, falling 3-0. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While North Pocono was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Crestwood's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-15.

Crestwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zach Koons led the charge by getting eight digs and seven aces. Koons is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season. Luke Joseph was another key player, getting 15 digs and three aces.

North Pocono's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Crestwood, their record is now 15-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Pocono will face off against Dallas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crestwood, they will square off against Abington Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
