Burbank has gone 9-1 against Hoover recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Burbank Bulldogs will take on the Hoover Tornados at 6:45 p.m. Burbank knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Hoover likes a good challenge.

Burbank took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Marshall 87-53. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Hoover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 82-33 defeat at the hands of Pasadena. While losing is never fun, the Tornados can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 652nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 136th).

Burbank has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Burbank came out on top in a nail-biter against Hoover when the teams last played back in January of 2024, sneaking past 66-64. Will Burbank repeat their success, or does Hoover have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
