Soccer Game Preview: Kuna vs. Caldwell

Kuna is 0-7 against Caldwell since September of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Kavemen will welcome the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Kuna will be strutting in after a victory while Caldwell will be coming in after a defeat.

Kuna's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Meridian by a score of 2-0. That two goal margin sets a new team best for Kuna this season.

Izaki Abongela was the driving force of Kuna's attack as he scored both of Kuna's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

Meanwhile, Caldwell faced Rocky Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Cougars took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grizzlies. That's two games in a row now that Caldwell have lost by exactly two goals.

Kuna's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4-2.
