Basketball Recap: Comanche Comes Up Short

Comanche came up into this matchup off a tough 23-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Lone Grove Longhorns by a score of 38-35 on Saturday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2021.

Comanche's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Lone Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Comanche will welcome Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lone Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plainview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lone Grove is facing Plainview at the right time seeing as Plainview is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
