Baseball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside lost to Charleston Catholic back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Irish by a score of 7-6. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dom Hodge made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Osborne, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Charleston Catholic, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-11 record.

Riverside has already played their next game, a 14-4 victory against Woodrow Wilson on the 9th. As for Charleston Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-1 win against Capital on the 9th.
