Basketball Game Preview: Foreman Gator Arkansas vs. Taylor Tigers

The Foreman Gator Arkansas will head out on the road to face off against the Taylor Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Foreman has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with 12 straight defeats, while Taylor will come in with 11 straight victories.

Last Friday, Foreman was beaten by Horatio 59-16. While losing is never fun, the Gator Arkansas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Lions are ranked 98th).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Taylor against Spring Hill on Tuesday as the squad secured a 53-14 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 20 points or more this season.

Taylor pushed their record up to 24-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.0 points over those games. As for Foreman, their loss dropped their record down to 1-22.

Foreman was dealt a bruising 57-17 defeat at the hands of Taylor in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can Foreman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
