Academy of Science and Innovation came tearing into Wednesday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the University Hawks by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ravens also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Academy of Science and Innovation was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 14-25, 25-21.

Among those leading the charge was Nehae'Vah Armstrong, who had 17 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matchups. Anna Jae Clarke also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Academy of Science and Innovation's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for University, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Academy of Science and Innovation will take on Academy of International Studies at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for University, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Britain at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
