Softball Recap: Braden River Comes Up Short

Braden River fell victim to Venice and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-0. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost nine in a row.

Braden River's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Venice, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Braden River will host Lakewood Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Venice, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverview Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
