Softball Recap: Lewis County Comes Up Short

Lewis County lost against Greenup County back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions came up short against the Musketeers, falling 13-2.

Lewis County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Myla Clark, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Clark has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Lewis County has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-19 record this season. As for Greenup County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-6.

As of now, neither Lewis County nor the Musketeers have any future games scheduled.
