Baseball Recap: Northlake Christian Comes Up Short

Northlake Christian lost against Slidell back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Northlake Christian Wolverines lost 10-2 to the Slidell Tigers. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northlake Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stew Covey, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Northlake Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-9-1. As for Slidell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northlake Christian will challenge Archbishop Hannan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slidell, they will head out on the road to face off against Fontainebleau at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
