Volleyball Recap: Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs vs. J.F. Webb Warriors
Durham School of the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the J.F. Webb Warriors. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 3-2.
Durham School of the Arts started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 22-25, 25-15, 25-10, 15-11.
Kelci Lucas paced Durham School of the Arts' offense, picking up five kills. Lucas got some help from Abigail Schnee and her 12 assists. Tessa Nayo controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.
