Baseball Recap: Sanborn Regional Comes Up Short

Sanborn Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Souhegan Sabers, falling 10-0. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 14-0 to the Sabers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sanborn Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Souhegan, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sanborn Regional will face off against rival Stark at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Souhegan is set to challenge their familiar foe Hollis-Brookline at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Sabers 1.2, the Cavaliers 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
