Softball Game Preview: Midway Vikings vs. Wellington-Napoleon Tigers

The Midway Vikings will square off against the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Midway has given up an average of 10.3 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Midway is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Hume just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 20-4 to the Hornets.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Wellington-Napoleon and Santa Fe, and Wellington-Napoleon kept the tradition alive. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Chiefs on Tuesday.

Wellington-Napoleon's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-16. As for Midway, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
