It was a good run, but Berea-Midpark unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 48-36 to the Avon Lake Shoremen. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Shoremen are ranked 37th).

Berea-Midpark's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Avon Lake, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

When Berea-Midpark and Avon Lake next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Berea-Midpark will challenge Highland and their 19-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Avon Lake will try to stop Archbishop Hoban's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
