Softball Recap: Junction City Triumphs

Junction City won against Marist on Friday with 20 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Tigers beat the Spartans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 20-17. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 20-17 victory on Friday.

Junction City now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Marist, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Junction City has already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Creswell on the 30th. As for Marist, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 win against Cottage Grove on the 29th.
