Baseball Recap: Obion County Comes Up Short

Obion County lost a heartbreaker to Calloway County when they met back in April of 2017, and they left with a heavy heart again on Saturday. Obion County came up short against Calloway County, falling 10-0. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Obion County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Calloway County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Obion County will square off against Crockett County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Crockett County's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Obion County's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Calloway County, they will face off against Graves County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
