Basketball Recap: Kendre Bullard's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Greenville over Charles Henderson

Greenville lost against Charles Henderson back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greenville Tigers took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Charles Henderson Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Trojans are ranked 87th).

Greenville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kendre Bullard, who posted eight points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Eriyon Roper, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Greenville and nudges their season record down to 3-11. As for Charles Henderson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Greenville will be playing in front of their home fans against Andalusia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Charles Henderson, they will square off against Brewbaker Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Brewbaker Tech: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Charles Henderson has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
