Softball Recap: West End Patriots vs. Susan Moore Bulldogs
West End's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Susan Moore Bulldogs a 15-0 shutout. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.
Liddy Falkner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February.
