Basketball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 54-13 loss at the hands of the Warrensburg Burgers. The game marked the Generals' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Salem's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Warrensburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salem will host Schuylerville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Salem is facing Schuylerville at the right time seeing as Schuylerville is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. Warrensburg has already played their next contest (against Whitehall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
