Game recap: St. Patrick High School Football Team defeats Michigan Lutheran

After taking the lead on a Joe Mackowiak touchdown run in the second quarter, St. Patrick (Portland, Mich.) was up 30-13 at the half.

The Shamrocks expanded their lead to 30 points entering the fourth quarter. St. Patrick scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Mackowiak.

A big 30-point second quarter helped SP secure the win. The Portland school scored on a Jake Schneider touchdown pass to Paul Carley, a Mackowiak touchdown run, a touchdown run by Mackowiak and a Mackowiak touchdown run in the quarter.

St. Patrick (2-0) goes up against Waldron in a Southern Michigan (8 Man) game matchup next week, while Michigan Lutheran (0-2) locks horns with St. Philip Catholic Central also in a Southern Michigan (8 Man) game.
