Volleyball Recap: Glenbard North Triumphs

After losing to Addison Trail the last time they met, Glenbard North decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Blazers 2-1 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Abby Graf had an outrageously good game as she had 31 assists and eight digs. That's the most assists she has posted over her last eight games. Lucy Perez was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Glenbard North's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Addison Trail, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Glenbard North and Addison Trail will both be playing Bartlett the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Hawks at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Blazers will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
