Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Long Creek). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the KIPP Somos Collegiate Tigers 68-23. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Dragons with their most commanding win of the season.

Despite the defeat, KIPP Somos Collegiate saw an underclassman step up: freshman TyKirah Steele posted 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Steele has scored all season.

Long Creek's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for KIPP Somos Collegiate, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.
