Softball Recap: Walton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Walton put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Taft Golden Eagles with a sharp 19-2 win. Fans of the Wildcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Walton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Taft, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walton will host Stevenson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Taft, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Truman at 4:00 p.m. The Golden Eagles are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
